The personal information you provide on this form is collected under the authority of section 8 of the Government Organization Act (RSA 2000) and Section 33(a) and (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSA 2000).
It is collected for the purposes of natural resource management and administration which includes the enforcement of applicable laws. This collection is authorized pursuant to the Wildlife Act, the Fisheries (Alberta) Act, and the Fisheries Act (Canada) and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
How Your Information is Used
This information you supply is used by Alberta Sustainable Resource Development program administrators to:
- Email a confirmation of the form you submit
- Issue a Special Walleye Sportfishing Fishing Licence in your name
- Mail the Special Walleye Sportfishing Licence & Walleye Tags requested
- Contact you if clarification or additional information is required
As stated in the terms and conditions of the Fish Quiz:
- Winners of the Fish Quiz must be an Alberta resident between the ages of 5-years and under 16 years of age to win the Special Walleye Licence.
- Anglers aged 16 to 64 must carry a Resident Sportfishing Licence when fishing. If the winner is 15 years old when they receive the Special Walleye Licence, but turn 16 while using it, they are required to purchase a Resident Sportfishing Licence.
