Formed in 1997, the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) is a non-profit, non-government association that works to conserve,
protect and enhance fish and wildlife, and their natural habitats, for all Albertans to enjoy. The ACA evolved out of the
Alberta Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund and is now managed by a board of directors that comprises conservation groups, first
nations, academic and public members.

interests of ethical hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts in the responsible stewardship of Alberta's environment. AFGA
has a total membership of more than 16,000, representing almost 100 affiliated fish and game clubs from across Alberta.

the Alberta Conservation and Hunter Education Program, which is offered both online and in person.

The Alberta Professional Outfitters Society (APOS) is a non-profit delegated administrative organization responsible for
administering the province’s outfitted hunting industry. There are more than 380 outfitter-guides registered through APOS,
serving more than 14,000 clients each year. APOS contributes significant funding to conservation research and projects through
the APOS Legacy Fund and the Wildlife Management Fund.
