Licences & Fees
To hunt migratory game birds (e.g., waterfowl) in Alberta, you need the following:
- A valid Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit
- A Game Bird Licence
- A Wildlife Certificate
Several private businesses sell Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permits in Alberta. Canada Post offices also sell these permits. To find a private licence issuer in your area, select your area in the following drop down list:
