Q1: A:

How are the hunting draws conducted?
If you applied for the special licence draws in the last two years, you will receive a special licence draws information package in the mail. If your address has changed since that last application, you can pick up a draw package (beginning early June 2008) from a private licence issuer, or contact the help desk to have one mailed out to you.

Q2: A:

How do I apply for a draw?
You apply by visiting any private licence issuer or by calling our draw line.

Before applying on a draw, you must have your ten-digit Wildlife Identification Number (WIN). A credit card number is not required when you apply. If you are successful in a draw, you will purchase your special licence at a private licence issuer.

Q3: A:

Yes. If you do not purchase your reserved special licence, your draw priority level will be reduced to zero for the next year.

Q4: A:

How are unassigned and quota licences purchased?
You reserve your licence by calling the draw line beginning the first business day in September.

You must have your ten-digit Wildlife Identification Number (WIN) ready when you call. A credit card number is not required. You purchase your licence at a private licence issuer at least one business day after you reserve it over the telephone.
