Free Fishing Weekends – Upcoming Dates
Free fishing weekends for 2012 are on the following days:
- Feb 18, 19 & 20 (Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
- July 7 & 8 (Saturday & Sunday)
On these dates, Albertans and visitors alike can fish without a licence on any public water body that
- has an open fishing season
- does not lie within a National Park
This is the perfect opportunity for curious Albertans to try out this traditional pastime without having to purchase a fishing
licence.
